And it's also the main reason why I bought them (I'm only collecting coins). I love history and the history of my country is especially very close to my heart and mind. So, when I was today at a bank and I saw this banknote and tombac I knew that I had to buy them. It's my way to celebrate this special for all Poles day. DL20K Pillar of the Community Poland 3201 Posts	Posted 11/10/2008 03:38 am The 5.000.000's design looks like the old series (up to 1994) which ended with a 2.000.000. DagonX Valued Member Poland 392 Posts	Posted 11/10/2008 04:56 am DL20K is right - the 5mln has design of the old series of polish banknote (before 1994). The tombac is a "metal" version of banknote which was design in 1994 but wasn't enter into the normal circulation. Report this Post to the Staff
