What can you tell me about this coin? It would be great if someone knew its value or how rare is it...?

Could you possibly take a picture without the flash? It would make the letters eaiser to read.

Also, something about this coin doen't seem right. It is too...perfect and uniform. Don't take this as a final verdict though, it might be just a feeling.

It appears to be a silver coin of some kind (probably an argentus) of Maximianus, but I can't find a specific example with this design.

Obverse: MAXIMIANVS AVG, laureate portrait

Reverse: CONCORDIA AVGG. I'm not sure who the figure on the reverse is, but it doesn't appear to be the "usual" appearance of Concord. It looks similar to Sol holding the head of Serapis, as seen on this coin from the same mint (but a different emperor), only more feminine.

These same pictures have been posted on FORVM; the poster there is fairly sure they're fakes.

Hello and welcome to the forum,

I agree with Sap this is a coin of Maximianus, I also have not been able to locate a match on the reverse. It's hard to tell from your pictures, but if this coin is a fake it's a very good one. How did you come by it?
