OH MY GOSH! I can't believe I just found this! I've been looking for this one and I'm so shocked! Found it in a roll of cents of course! Sorry I'm just super excited as this is the first LSC DDO I've found myself.  Edited by SilverCents

Awesome find SilverCents! I have been finding a lot of Lincoln Shield cent Doubled Dies lately. Yesterday, I found tons of minor Doubled Die varieties. My best finds though are 2012 P WDDR-002, 2015 P WDDO-006 "Best Of" variety and 2017 WDDO-003. Errers and Varietys.

Put that in a 2x2 and put the date and attribution number on there that way you can look back at it fondly when you get old like me.

Thanks everyone! I'm very excited that I managed to come across it.
Very cool E&V! That seems like quite the lot! Would you consider this one of the more rare DDOs when it comes to the Shield Cents? It being a more recent discovery.

SilverCents, in my opinion, yes. It's one of the better ones for that year. And don't forget about WDDO-016! That's a strong Doubled Die that I found. It was at one time unlisted until I sent it in to John Wexler to be listed. It's my favorite DDO that I found on a Lincoln Shield cent. Good to know, thanks! Ah yes of course! That one is a beauty definitely! I'm not a huge fan of LSCs because it can be difficult to find much of anything sometimes, besides lots of die chips and cracks, but I'm super glad I found this one! I think this will replace my Best DDO found in my signature! |
