@oak, thanks for posting this coin. I agree an interesting letterform on that A.

There are two variants, with the Roman A and the other with the Gothic /\

No, there are much more variants really. You'll find 15 variants of the Lithuanian penny of Grand Duke Lithuanian Alexander Jagiellon in our future book. And there are 4 different types of Gothic A....Your coin I can count as P5 in our book, with B type of Knight and 5-A Eagle, the same, as on some Lithuanian half-groats of Alexander.
