Just finished up a wheat bag:

3x 1949-S RPM-001s, 1953-S RPM-006, 1949-S DDO-003, 1945-S RPM-010, 1941 class 6 DDO, and an odd die gouge 1952-D. Overall not a bad hunt.

The obverse of this coin isn't very nice, but the variety makes up For it. This RPM looks nice in LDS, but is extremely difficult to spot in EDS. This is the earliest stage I have seen yet. What do you think?

Thanks both of you! Certainly interesting how the die stages work. A nice RPM in LDS. I should know, I have 5 examples of this RPM in EDS and LDS.

Great find CH27, thanks for posting it.

I'm going to start going through my 1940's or 1950's next. I'll have to keep an eye out. Helps to have a good image in mind.
