A clipped nickel from my collection. Nice Blakesley Effect and widely varied rim width on this error make it and interesting study piece. Comments and observations are always welcome!

Yeah Spence. I think this is very slight MAD (Misaligned Die).

One of the reasons I posted this coin! I think it's a MAD, and the clip let the planchet "seek" it's own location in the striking chamber. Both the obverse and reverse have interesting and varied rim thickness.
