I was fortunate enough to be able to buy an UNC 1976 Turks and Caicos 100 Crown (.2896 oz. AGW, KM #17) yesterday. I found out later that the mintage for these was 250 pieces. I also found out that a friend of mine has one of the others, so together we control .8% of the entire market of these coins.

I thought this was pretty funny. For comparison, if you tried to corner the market to the same extent on 2006P Jefferson nickels, you'd have to find a place to store over 30.5 tons of nickels.

Wow, what a contrast! Applying that same "market share" to 2000-P Virginia quarters translates to roughly 46.5 tons (7.54M coins)
