No, it's unfortunately all just Post Strike Damage ( PSD). Not an error coin.

If it 'was' a strike thru, would the coin have a smooth surface or show a raised surface?

Also on the reverse pic, I see another strike of outer portion of the shield - is this considered DD?

If it were a strike through, the coin would not be missing the copper plating. It would look exactly like any other minted coin with a depression in the surface in the shape of whatever foreign object or substance it was struck through.

Not seeing what you mean about "another strike on the outer portion of the shield" - do you mean the top rim? That's just how the design looks; it has a slight lip at the top of the shield. Not doubling, and I see no evidence to suggest this coin is a DDR.
