Can you please get a picture of clipped area on the edge? I am pretty sure it's legitimate, but I'd like to see the edge first.

Yep, it's genuine. Great find! Although I would wear gloves next time though. Fingerprints are now going to etched onto the surfaces of the coin. Just a tip.

In my personal opinion not a real clip, no blakesley effect at all.. at the metal at the clip looks fresh to me, if the clip happened at time of striking then the coin would be the same color of toning.. across the clip.. not look like it was done a week ago,...
This is just my opinion..

It's a genuine clip. Also, clips don't always have the Blakesley effect, which doesn't always mean it's not genuine. The edge clearly shows where it got clipped. http://www.error-ref.com/_curved_clips_/Errers and Varietys.

The color at the edge of the clip looks aged and toned, not fresh to me as well.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.
