Damaged coin. The coin was cut down trying to create a dime to buy a soda from a vending machine.

Yepper, for vending machines.

A grinding wheel or bench grinder. You can see the grooves in the edge of the coin from the abrasive nature of the wheel.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.
