tiny, tiiiiiny die chip on the claw. This die event is sometimes called a "six clawed bear" by people desperate to sell quarters above face value, but you wouldn't catch me paying more than 25 cents for one. Not something I'd waste space in your collection on, but they do sometimes sell above face value on ebay if you want to unload it.

Not nearly as exciting as the beauty of a Cud you posted!

I would keep the Cud, personally. Cuds on quarters sell for less than I think they deserve to go for, so I just keep them for my collection. I'd rather have an awesome Cud I found myself than 5-20 bucks. Especially since listing and shipping is a lot of effort. The stuff that sells fastest on ebay is the stuff I consider the least interesting (e.g. minor die chips and cracks and greasers with catchy names like "In God We Rust," "Spitting Horse," "Extra Leaf," or "Six-clawed Bear"). Give the people what they seem to want and unload junk while keeping the good finds for yourself, I say.
