I have a 192? Wheat back penny that I just got out of a roll today. Would like to see if this was a minting error or just a man made error. Thanks in advance!

Welcome to CC!

Unfortunately, the coin has been damaged. Denver issued several coins over the 1920 decade and it could be any of them. Regardless, the damage makes it worth 1 cent.

Nice roll find. Even with the obliterated date digit ( PMD), this example might be worth 3-5 cents. Certainly not much, for sure! I've seen coins like this, and worse, in Wheat cent junk bins at coin shops priced at 10 cents.

Wonder if that's a lamination issue or strike-through on the right wheat stalk (top)?

Sweet thanks for the help guys! I just started getting into coin collecting so my collection is very small. Mostly older wheats and indian heads. And my knowledge for hidden gems is small. I usually see the more expensive ones when looking online.

No grade of on coin without a complete date.
