Hello, I think I finally found an error coin here. It looks similar to the 1964-D RPM-008 via Variety vista website. I'm new at spotting varieties and so far am 0/2 so just confirming I found something here. if more pictures are needed of whole coin I could get on phone and post a couple

Any input helps and is appreciated :)

I am looking at the top left of the "D" and thats where it looks similar to me. Am I looking into the wrong area at this?both look very similar to each other for me. does mine need to have that tiny white hole at the top left like in the RPM008 picture?

I'm sorry if I'm just not getting it.... I have tried looking at peoples explanation of the differenced between MD and DDO I'm just not grasping it for some reason. Like I go to PCGS and look at their errors and see what looks like MD and they call it DDO or DDR and vice versa.

is it just because mine is a tad more north than the other picture and that makes it MD as opposed to RPM?

Don't get frustrated. It can be confusing when the example in the references also has Machine Doubling. It was for me. You will figure it out. Also read the descripition of the variety (direction).

You might try the search function in coppercoins. The page has a bunch of web page errors, but the search works and the pics are more focused on what you need to ID the coins in my newb opinion.

But remember, since these are varieties in the die that makes the coins, the coins will be EXACTLY the same. Look at the upper right corner of the vista "D", that is where the rpm is located, not the upper left.
