My question is does it look tampered with ?
Electrolysis or acid dipped or legit.

Yes there is some Environmental damage.
Environmental damage would not take the copper layer away evenly on both sides of the coin.

Environmental damage.
The copper layer isn't missing. There is a gray layer (from the moisture in the bottom of a cup holder maybe?) covering the coin. You can see brown showing through where the gray has been rubbed away.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

What is the weight of the coin? I have an identical 2001-P that weighs in at 1.9 grams.It appears to be chemically altered IMO.

Easier to tell in hand, zinc doesn't hold up as well as copper so they spot quite fast. Does the coin have luster in hand? Always the easiest way to tell, as the zinc will have luster if it isn't too far gone.
