Hello every one, I'm Jamie and new to the world of coin collecting.
I first got into coin collecting when I came across some cool looking 50Pence coins while at work. It was the "Roger Bannister" & the "Battle Of Hasting" coins.
I thought they were great. Now 2 years on, I have collected various coins. From 50p's to the £2 coins, all UK coins though as I'm from the UK.
I have completed only 2 sets, "The Great British Coin Hunt 2018 10p Collection" and "The Olympic 50p Collection".
I have quite the collection of the 50p's and £2's. Mainly needing the rare, most expensive coins to complete them sets lol, if only money was no bother eh.
Only now, I have dipped my toes into the State/Park Quarters, and coins from around the world. This is like an addiction now.
I'm so glad I found what looks to be a great forum to be apart of.
Thanks for having me.
Jamie.
P.S: Sorry for the long post, I've not been part of a forum of this size before haha.
@NumisRob (not sure how to reply to each single post)
Thanks mate. But I must admit, all of them was via trading and purchasing. I live in the South West and Unfortunately I have never seen a single one in the wild!
I have worked in a shop for 7 years, and found none. Every day I always dream of finding a Kew Gardens though haha.
