I have found these two 2020 D pennies both with doubled ears and characteristics of doubling on both sides of both coins. It seems that both doubled ears are different as well, with one more south, and the other more running along the side of the ear. I would love some feedback as to if I just made a cool new discovery. If you guys want more information or pictures please let me know. I am trying to figure out as much as possible about these coins. Thank you.

16 photos, you only need 3 or 4 please. Full coin photo of the obverse and full coin photo of the reverse cropped and rotated properly,as well as one or two close ups of area in question. You should also reduce the glare by filtering your light,it helps a lot.

Yeah I realize that was alot of photos. Thought people would've wanted to see all of the doubling. Also I'm not very good at distinguishing all the different types of doubling, and I really want to know what I have here.

Most of the images are showing Machine Doubling. The ear shot, a bit wider shot to see if it is enlarging the ear, normal or a contact mark?

looks like a split serif on G of GOD, which indicates a DDO

I'm with coop, Machine Doubling. With the photos, less is more.

Some of that does look like MD. However; even true DDO/R s can have MD as well.

Some of that does give me pause. The Ear, the initials and possibly the date. Though the date is just not clear enough to make a determination.

Try taking different pictures with different lighting conditions and play around with an editing program. IT takes a LOT of practice to photograph copper well. So dont feel bad.

YOU could contact Wexler at his website. Google his name and " DDO".
