hard to tell from the pictures, but for $7.70, you can't get hurt too badly.

Looks like its in a 2x2 from the pic, so thats a plus. Maybe some of the wierd textures are just fuzz or something. I'd say good buy, and good luck

Horrible "scans". I HATE SCANNERS FOR COINS! It's the dumbest idea ever, then couple that with someone that is completely clueless about dealing image files and you have pictures like this.
You rolled the dice, I hope a 7 comes up for you and not snake eyes. LOL

Hi insideout
The coin looks to be in the low AU area, but may have an issue with old fingerprints . I do see some dust on the 2X2 or scanner bed which does not help the quality of the small pictures to be sure .
post us some real pictures when you get the coin in hand .

$7.70 is a great price if it's not damaged. They must call you Mr. Vegas: Buying from photos like those is low stakes gambling!

The big question is: do you feel it was worth the price? Going by grade I would say yes you got a good deal on it but when it is in your hands is it that more special? If it something you like then it is ALWAYS worth the price you paid and sometimes these kind of deals on ebay work out better to your advantage. Last year I bought a Large Cent off of ebay mainly to get a hole filled for as cheap as possible. The pictures were horrible and made the coin look as if it was a G4 grade and not that desirable. When the coin showed up I was completely shocked because it was easily an XF with a lot of AU details in it so $6 for a $80 coin was well worth it. But, I have had the other way hurt me as well so the best advice is buyer be ware.

Ive found that as well , taking a photo of a coin rarely shows its condition for me , ive a nice canon and use macro but never does show its true condition and depending on lighting makes it look worse than it is.

From those pics it's hard to tell but my guess is MS64RB.
Can you take it out of the flip and get a better pic?
In any event - Great deal!
