Well I satisfied my Lincoln addiction on ebay tonight. I didn't buy anything special. I just can't resist RED Lincoln's. For $16.64 I don't think I did too bad. If I did please feel free to let me know. After all I'm trying to become a smarter collector. 1942-D $2.93 1941 $0.99 1940-S $4.02 1940 $5.50 $13.44 subtotal $2.50 shipping $0.70 insurance $16.64 I couldn't figure out how to post the pictures that I copied from ebay so here's the ebay item numbers. 170278027284170278024367170278023718170278021988Thanks, Tom

Very nice coins Tom. Prices seem reasonable to me.
I usually skip the insurance on small purchases but for $0.70 it's no biggie.

Yes it sounds good. Red's are getting hard to find. Are they a good grade also? I have a few that are red but have a nick or two on them also.

For Reds I try to buy them for $5 if I can find them so I think you got a great deal on these from what I can see. The ultimate decision is when you insert them into your set and it shines, then you know it was a great deal. I bought a few this last week and love to see the Dansco pages shine rather than the browns in the first few pages.

Tom, go to the online auction page... Then: Find the full size pic you want to post. Right click that pic. Click "properties" on the menu that pops up. The properties page will give you the internet address for the picture. Highlight the address. Right click. Click "copy". Then put 'image tags' in your post. Now right click the cursor between the image tags. Click "paste" Done. It sounds like a lot of work, but it is really quick.
'Image tags' look like this: [ img ]put image address here[ /img ] Don't put any spaces like I did. I had to or the tags wouldn't have been visible in the post.
Nice coins!

Great coins. Hope they turn out as nice as they look.
One question on posting pictures from e-bay. Are those pictures subject to copyright and is it okay to post them in this forum? Just curious ans want to post pictures myself from e-bay.

Well I received the coins in the mail today and I must say the coins match up with the pictures very well. actually with the coins in hand I am very pleased. I will buy from this seller in the future. I would like feedback from everyone regarding as grade that you would assign to each coin.
Thanks,
Tom

My stab at the grades:
1942-D : MS65RD 1941 : MS63RD (thumb prints?) 1940-S : MS64RD 1940 : MS66RD
All very nice but the 1940-P looks like the real gem of the group.
