Thanks Treashunt. I did something that I would NOT recommend others do. I bought it raw on ebay.....(waiting for the hand slapping).
The pics on ebay were decent, and I could make out the diagnostics. The seller offered a full refund including shipping if not satisfied, and had perfect feedback. I still bid low as this is a scary coin to buy raw. I didnt think I'd win it, but the bidding ended on election night when everyone was watching the tallying of votes(which is probably why it ended low). I had been studying the die 2 now intently for several months, and there are a PLETHORA of fakes/altered dates on ebay....so you really have to be careful there. I've emailed sellers before regarding questionable 22 no ds.
It is very low grade(maybe g4-g6) and it has some scratches and striation marks, but it still looks pretty nice in hand and the color is nice/even. I suppose there is a chance it is fake(though I think this one is legit) I intend to take it to my dealer for additional examination and send it to ANACS for certification.
