I only started coin roll hunting this April, and eventually settled into half dollars and pennies. Have gone through 4 full boxes of half dollars that I get from my bank every few weeks and came across a 1996D that is missing the second "L" in DOLLAR on the reverse. The coin is otherwise nearly uncirculated with no wear on it and there doesn't appear to be any contact with the coin's surface where the letter L should be. How unusual is this, and is it worth anything?
