Images are either too close or too far away. But if the area is incuse, it might be a struck through or post strike damage. Just can't tell for sure which. Need images in between.

tp the CCF!

It looks like it could be a strike through. Maybe a small piece of metal from another coin. It's interesting! Let's see what the other members think.

Is all of the shape incuse?

to CCF. My first thought was a struck through debris. Need better pics though.

Thanks for the input. I am working on better pictures. I am on SS so my funds are limited. I do wish someone would tell me what I need to get better pictures. I have three microscopes, one canon PowerShot camera and a note 8 samsung phone and I can't seem to get the pictures everyone wants. I will try again later or maybe I need to send this coin to someone to have it checked out. Your thoughts.

I take my coin photos with my iPhone with it's built in software (for cropping, etc.). It allows me to get razor sharp 5X images. Then using iCloud, I upload everything to my computer where using by basic photo editing software, I resize the photos to CFF's requirements, then finally I upload them here to CFF. Sounds complicated, but it really isn't, and like anything else, the more you do it, the better you get. I will also say your light source is important, daylight is best it you can. Good luck!
