- 1912-S US Penny RPM?http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...ie_state=mds- 1949-S US PENNY double die?No. Look at the top of the 4 on this link:
http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...ie_state=eds- 1864 US 2 CENTS COIN double die?Not a doubled die, but an re-punched date.
- 1944-D US Penny double die?Need more images on a separate thread. (Including the date
and mintmark area. Put on a new thread by itself.
- 1962-D US Penny double die?Looks normal. Also same comment above.
- 1968-S US Penny, forehead mark?Looks like damage. The mark is incuse not raised and doesn't resemble the design at all. A doubled die is altered by a hub that has the devices on it.
- 1981-D US Jefferson nickel RPM?No. Looks like die wear. Die wear flows to the closest rim. That is what you are seeing.
- 1982-D US Penny, double die?Need more images on a separate thread. (Including the date and mintmark area. Put on a new thread by itself.
- 1986-D US Penny, extra dot after word "we"?Can't tell from image. But if you see gray in the center of the dot, it is split plating. It will not press down with a toothpick. Nothing on the die to create that on that area. Or a gas bubble that will press down with a tooth pick.
- 1988-P US Jefferson nickel, spiny lips? No. These are fading die scratches. They remain strong near the devices, but they flatten out in the open field areas.
- 2009-D US Penny, reverse finger variety?Possible, but I don't know the die number. You could check coppercoins for a listing to match it to:
Might be a match:
