Hi,
Hope you will not be upset by the following questions.
I know some the images are not attractive due to light problem which I do have in photography and hope I will solve it soon, but I think still they have some thing to say.
Since I have single image for each question, therefore I am writing all in one letter and they are as below:
- 1912-S US Penny RPM?
- 1949-S US PENNY double die?
- 1864 US 2 CENTS COIN double die?
- 1944-D US Penny double die?
- 1962-D US Penny double die?
- 1968-S US Penny, forehead mark?
- 1981-D US Jefferson nickel RPM?
- 1982-D US Penny, double die?
- 1986-D US Penny, extra dot after word "we"?
- 1988-P US Jefferson nickel, spiny lips?
- 2009-D US Penny, reverse finger variety?

Thanking you.
With regards,
Habib.

Habib , while we value your questions and photos , please restrict them to no more than 2 per post . It's very confusing trying to decipher all those photos at one time . Thanks , don't get discouraged .

The 1864 does look like a potential repunched date. I agree with the other comments - it is not only easier to help you, but easier for other users with similar questions to help themselves in the future if you limit to one coin per post.

Yes, the 1864 is a repunched date. I'm not allowed to post the link because it's on another forum, but I found a thread for the same variety where it was identified as KF-5 (I'm not very familiar with classic varieties, so that's not an index I'm even familiar with, but definitely an RPD)

- 1912-S US Penny RPM?
http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...ie_state=mds
- 1949-S US PENNY double die?
No. Look at the top of the 4 on this link:
http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...ie_state=eds
- 1864 US 2 CENTS COIN double die?
Not a doubled die, but an re-punched date.
- 1944-D US Penny double die?
Need more images on a separate thread. (Including the date and mintmark area. Put on a new thread by itself.
- 1962-D US Penny double die?

Looks normal. Also same comment above.
- 1968-S US Penny, forehead mark?
Looks like damage. The mark is incuse not raised and doesn't resemble the design at all. A doubled die is altered by a hub that has the devices on it.
- 1981-D US Jefferson nickel RPM?
No. Looks like die wear. Die wear flows to the closest rim. That is what you are seeing.
- 1982-D US Penny, double die?
Need more images on a separate thread. (Including the date and mintmark area. Put on a new thread by itself.
- 1986-D US Penny, extra dot after word "we"?
Can't tell from image. But if you see gray in the center of the dot, it is split plating. It will not press down with a toothpick. Nothing on the die to create that on that area. Or a gas bubble that will press down with a tooth pick.
- 1988-P US Jefferson nickel, spiny lips?
No. These are fading die scratches. They remain strong near the devices, but they flatten out in the open field areas.
- 2009-D US Penny, reverse finger variety?
Possible, but I don't know the die number. You could check coppercoins for a listing to match it to:
Might be a match:
DDR-001
http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...ie_state=mds
DDR-002
http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...ie_state=mds
DDR-009
http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...ie_state=eds

But best to have a thread for each coin. But my comments will answer most questions.
