Hey Guys ... I found this 2011-D penny while searching bank rolls. There is this rim-to-rim die break but I can not for the life of me figure out how the "RUST" was not cut out but was imprinted inside the break. This is exactly how I found it. Can someone tell me if they have seen this before, and is it valuable enough to send to PCGS?
ANY IDEAS? Thanks Reggie

to the Forum.

That is a damaged coin,it is a deep scrape most likely caused by the coin getting jammed in between some mechanical object, it is not a mint error or a die break

I'm seeing post mint damage, not a die break.

Thanks Chase007. I guess I will just add it to my unusual collections.
