Hi,

Recently looking at trend pricing the list doesn't cover as an example MS64 BN it lists only MS64 RD so what adjustments are we making to the trend price when the color is different but the grade is the same? Ive scoured and could not find the answer.

Thanks!

Read the fine print in the Canadian Coin News Trends... premiums are supposed to be applied to degrees of "redness" (they almost never are, except for some of the high end pieces Hugh Powell sells). That is not a bad thing - I suppose it is no different than ""eye-appeal"... the prettiest coins fetch the best prices...

Thanks for the reply.

I see the fine print at the top on the list. Interestingly enough Ive read the trends hundreds of times but never noticed that before. So are we to assume since there are no detractions for MS64BN that it pretty much is equivalent to MS64RD in price. And the only way the number changes is if we are adding a premium? I wish it would say e.g. less 20% for BN etc.
