Hello New member first post. I'm new to collecting but have been learning alot from the various forums online. I could use your opinions on this coin and weather or not to send it in for certification PCGS. thanks.    |

Wow! That's a great find! It's super strong! I hadn't seen or heard about this one yet! Edit: Not worthy sending to PCCS, BUT, there is a worthwhile way to do something. If you send it to Dr. Wiles at Variety Vista http://www.varietyvista.com/) and get it listed you can send it to ANACS with a copy of Dr. Wiles's letter and ANACS will notate it was the first discovery example. Is there also a doubled ear on your coin? While it would be a discovery coin if it is the first listing, I wouldn't send it in to be graded. But but be attributed by Variety Vista and doubleddie.com with John Wexler. Very nice find. While the mintmark is also doubled, it would be just part of the DDO. RPMs stopped in 1990 with the mintmarks as part of the design. Edited by coop

What class of DDO would this classify as? Probably Class 9 but it could also be Class 4. |
