This particular coin caught my attention because there is an 1906/5 overdate, and this has an interesting detail on the 6 as shown below.
While I haven't seen this feature on other coins of this date, I don't really know if this is the 1906/5 overdate--does anyone have an idea? Thanks!

maybe I just have bad eyes today, but it actually looks like an over 3 to me. I'm probably wrong since I know nothing about this series of coins.

Thanks, yes--I was pondering that too, although I've never found reference to a 1906/3
It may simply be a die mark, but it got my attention since the 1906/5 is rather valuable. I'll need to find an example of a 5 digit to make an overlay to see what lines up.

Also depends if these coins had a 3 with a flat top or rounded one. If it's the second option, it can't be 1906/3.

Yeah I know I'm only stating the obvious

That's an intriguing idea, although Sweden did not make a 2 ore coin in 1903. Good thought--it seems they used a flat-top 3 for other years.
So I looked at a few more of this date, and they don't have this mark.
Despite how it looks in the photo, the mark isn't hooked at the bottom like a 3 would be,
but it bends less sharply towards the 6. (This is hidden by the shadow).
The next step will be to find a 5 used on this coin and do an overlay.

Here's an updated analysis on this coin I found at the show with some new photographs and overlays.

Sweden-1906-2-Ore--Interesting-Digit
The "flag" is quite distinct and is partially at the same relief as the 6. The secondary feature below is lighter but quite distinct under certain lighting angles.

Although Krause lists a 1906/5 2 ore, it doesn't show the markers for this overdate, so I have to do some guesswork here. While overlays of the 5 digit might offer some clues, I find layering photographs can often be confusing. Instead, I traced an approximate outline from a 1905 coin to see if a 5 digit explains what I see. I should note here I drew the digit independently of my coin's features, and follows are two photos, one taken from the pic above, another taken from my QX5.

Another lighting angle from my QX5--it's very useful to study a coin from several angles.

I cannot say for certain this is the 1906/5, but isn't it interesting how a few features appear to line up without much trouble?
If you know any more about this coin, please add below...I'm always trying to learn more.
