Sorry if this has been covered before. I'm new here and didn't find a reference to this when I searched.
I have the six NHL coin and puck sets issued by RCM in 2008, all in original hard plastic casing. They're awkward to store so I'm looking to offload them as I prep to move from the Prairies to Atlantic Canada.
Checking on current values [ebay, etc] it looks like the Montreal Canadiens Special Edition Loonie and Puck is pricing significantly higher than the others [which you can get below issue price]. But the prices for the Montreal Canadiens are as much as 10x those of the others. Does anybody know why?
Thanks very much in advance.
Reference [note this is for a "scuffed" set. Mine is Mint]
Thanks very much DBM for the link to previous discussions of this coin, which I found very helpful. And thanks, jbuck for the welcome.
I read the posting protocols last night after I had already posted my query and was advised the post was moved. It might take me a bit to figure out all the ins and outs of the forum, but I'm looking forward to it.
