I've seen a variety of these kinds of things posted, but nothing quite like these.

They've been variously described as telephone tokens, mass transit tokens and a variety of other things.

Can anyone give something more definitive or point me to a website?

Thanks for the assist.

The link was to a very helpful website, which in turn led me back to Numista (which I had tried to search already but wasn't successful).

It looks like these are tokens for an underground funicular rail system in Haifa, Israel.

The internet is an amazing thing, sometimes.
