There is a fellow near me that has some silver certs
for sale. I have been in contact with him and it turns
out they are all common dates, HOWEVER, like the title
says, one has been autographed by Frank Sinatra and
Caesar Romero.

The person is asking me to make an offer on the notes, but
to be fair, I suggested he stop by here and see what you
good folks thought the value of a note like that would be.

I'd feel funny just offering an arbitrary amount, and the
thing might actually be worth more than I could afford.
That wouldn't be hard, if you know what I mean!

Maybe he'll stop by and show it off.

Thoughts?
Opinions?
Attempts at valuation?

Thanks!
Dave

I can tell you is that the silver certificate meaningless. All of the potential value would be in the autographs. It might as well be a cocktail napkin- the value would be the same either way. The Joker is not worth much but Ol' Blue Eyes could be $250 or so. The problem is that there are many non-authentic Sinatra autographs floating around so authentication would be a must to get full value out of it.

Is there are provenance for it? Maybe signed for an assistant or something working on a movie set with both of them? It would be good to have any possible history behind it- stuff like that can help with authentication.

Others will know more , its probably whatever the autographs worth , it reminded me that long ago my Dad had a dollar with JFK's autograph on it and another with RFK's , we moved to Scotland early 70's and whatever went into storage was lost for all time to us...bet that was worth something too
