I am new to the coin community in search of answers about some of the pennies that I have collected throughout the years. I started setting aside pennies that stood out to me as something different. Such as doubling letters, off centered, color, the way they feel. From what I am learning so far is that I may have several key dates that might be worth something. I'll be posting questions about a worn Wheat penny unable to see the date 2.7g doesn't stick to a magnet. Many from the year my son was born in 1992 unsure if any are the Close AM. 1982 D 3.1g, etc, ranging from the 1940's-1980's and several 2009's. I look forward to the help and thank you all in advance.
