paralyse Bedrock of the Community United States 12057 Posts	Posted 07/12/2020 5:09 pm All of John's coins range from slightly scarce to very rare so it's a pleasure to own any of the issues. The portrait is very clear as is the voided short cross on the reverse, despite some planchet issues. Can you identify the 'IM' (mintmark) and moneyer on the reverse? Face is more oblong than triangular with round R, normal S and 5 pelleted crown, round pelleted curls. By the way, if you ever see one of these with the king's scepter on the bust's right (his left) side instead of the opposite, and it's not attributed, grab it!
