These three items serve me well for what I need. Well under a $200 investment for everything - Camera Scope, Large light, mini light.

The mini light is a must have. Three brightness settings and three hues of color to choose from. Super flexible and USB recharge.

If anyone would like more information on any of the items I will be glad to provide. All came from Amazon.

That does seem interesting.

I would like to know what you're recommending.

Why do you need two light sources?

The big light I use for taking photos of larger Coins - Ike's/ASE's. The small light I use with my camera scope only, while taking photos(smaller coins/half dollar and down in size). I turn the overhead scope lights all the way off and use the small light to bring light in from the side of the Coin. When searching Coins I use the overhead camera scope lights.
