Hey everybody. I'm new to the Coin World. I found a 1993 silver colored Lincoln Penny and I could surely use some help/ advice on trying to figure out what it is. I weighed it and it is around 2.5grams on my scale. If you have any info please inform me if you can. Thanks.

to CCF. Looks like some sort of environmental damage to me. The copper plated has been removed. It did not leave the mint like that.

People sometimes burn/melt the copper plating off a penny and the remaining zinc coating is a silver color. Thats what it looks like to me. Didn't come from the mint like that. Do you know the weight of coin?

It's zinc plated, or "copper" plating removed. PMD.

I agree with John1 above, looks to be some sort of environment post mint damage. Weight is normal.
