I picked it up at pretty much silver value, I needed it to go in my whitman album. Has someone polished the obverse? It is ridiculously shiny, it's so shiny that I thought it might not be real but it passes magnet test and the ding test.

Harshly cleaned Dollar . Noticed you are in the UK.
When things do get back to normal , there are many
Coin dealers or Coin fairs where you will find a very
nice one of this date for around £15 to £20.

Unfortunately yes.

Depending on how its been cleaned, if you hold the coin at the right angle under a light you should see a whole bunch of concentric hairlines that indicate a polishing

Thanks everyone. I believe I'll keep this as a stacker and I'll look for a really nice one considering they aren't too expensive.
