I have had this for years, can't seem to find info on it.
Heavy, dated 1652, appears to have the royal Tudor rose in between the prince and princess on obverse.
Seeing I believe name Joanna, maybe Philip? On reverse I am seeing the word " Edinburgh "

Can anyone tell me what I have here?

I would appreciate it guys

Could you improve the images a bit? Crop and rotate them so the heads are the right way up?
For me, it would also be better if you uploaded them rather than using a Pinterest link - I don't have a Pinterest login and so I can't download them to magnify and rotate.

PS: by downloading the thumbnail and tinkering I can make out Eggenberg on the reverse - a princely district in modern day Austria. See:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eggenberg_family
In the titles on the obverse I can see that it is for Johan Christian, who was Prince of Eggenberg 1641 to 1710. By the double portrait I would suspect this is a wedding medallion for his marriage to Princes Maria Ernestina of Schwarzenberg.
A gentle clean with soap and water would clear some of the crud and make it easier to read.

I'm locking this thread as it is a duplicate. Best practice is to only create one thread per coin. You can add comments to the thread found with this link:
