What's HOT: key date Canadian coins are HOT and make sure you buy'em at the highest grade you "can't" afford (and dont' let your wife find out or we'll both be dead), gold and silver bullion and Elizabethan nickels in MS-65. What's not:Royal Canadian Mint proof / proof like sets, sovereigns, common date coins in lower grades, and any coins with problems on the Certificate comment line! all in a day's work!......................Glenn

Kurt, did you post that just to bug me? you probably know how I feel about all the junk the mint produces. I can't stand that junk. Also. Key dates are hot. 47 Dot's, 36 Dot's, 49 A points.. those are all hot.

In a way, this thread is inviting; it is a reflection of what this forum has become.
What is really NOT hot: derogatory comments towards certain segments of coin collecting.
Good bye.

I feel as though some of the ultra high graded(70) TPG modern US issues aren't as hot as they were a year ago. I think the Lincolns are on fire right now with the 2009 coins on the way.

Good bye. This thread is simply letting people state what they feel is hot and what they feel is not. Everyone enjoys the hobby in different ways. No one was belittled for what they like and collect, but you can't expect everyone to like every issue from every country. I hope that you reconsider and stay with us. We all need to understand that posts here are opinions and should be treated as such.

I was on an on-line auction last night. Morgans, common dates and circulated, went for over $50! Most everything else was pretty much on line. Note: mainly a US coin auction Think that makes em HOT. What's not hot, is everything I buy.

Good bye. Could you please explain further? Because I have no idea what you're talking about. In the meantime, I'm going to go see if there was a post deleted that I missed or something.

Marc, I've enjoyed reading your posts and hope you decide to stay. Everyone here is invited to share their thoughts on Canadian coins they really like (or not). I guess it's obvious I'm not big on the RCM cow coin, but that's just my opinion.
