Ah yes I see it, glare is getting in the way a tad, but I still have a conclusion.

My guess is that this is a VERY MINOR DDO, not really worth submitting. Or maybe MD is being hid behind the lighting. One of those two.

Took out the glare, and yes, this is a minor DDO.

CoinHunter: Ya have to ask yourself if ya wanna keep them knowing they will not be worth no more then one cent and they wont sell. Do you have a lot of storage room for coins Dump it don't save it not worth the storage. Years later when you look at them you will say I Should have listened to Dave LOL JK. If it was a FINE BU then I would think about it but its Entirely up to you.

Thanks Dave. Who knows, some collectors might want this. I do in fact have storage so I'll just tube it for now.

Hm looks more like damage now.

I'm leaning towards flattening and damage.

Looks almost like die polishing reducing the devices.

It does, but I don't see evidence of die polishing.

You usually don't see the die polishing lines as much on the shield cents (at least that's what I think).

Die polishing was also my first thought. While the bust protects the 'Y' the most from circulation damage, it is the first thing to be affected by die polishing.

Did you try the SBS with a normal coin? That would probably help you see if it is or not?
