I believe this is a DDO and not MD. I will let the experts decide it's fate. LOL Also can someone look up the prices on these for me? please. For the 1950-J mint and G mint prices in AU. I still haven't bought the world coin book. Thanks Shane

Hi,
The detailed photos are very helpful!
I took one of your shots, enhanced it a bit and think its MD.
If this was a DDO, I'd expect some notching of the devices at corners and serifs. Instead, the doubling merges cleanly with the letters, which is what I'd expect with shearing action and not a double-hubbed die.

That's just my take--others are welcomed to chime in.
In terms of value, Krause lists the 50-J in VF at $0.50

Shane, Congrats on 500!
I'm not sure about the price difference, although it's a high mintage (102M), so my guess is those sellers prices are a little crazy.
