Was putting quarters from a coin operated washing machine in tubes for the bank last night and my wife found this one and asked me if it had any value. To me, looks like just a couple nicks in the breast of the eagle and the "ER" in QUARTER. Any comments sincerely appreciated before I spend or deposit this coin! Thank you. 1986-D

looks like damage after it left the mint, who knows what caused it, but it didn't happen when they struck the coin.
