But the weakness on the opposite of the three areas on the reverse tells me this is a bad planchet issue. The first one with the date, I question. I need to see the edges on it to see how the reeds appear on that area. I feel this one is PSD. Report this Post to the Staff

This is what I love about the hobby,the urge to debunk is very strong within the community,lol. That shows passion and interest,i like it. Because of this, I tend to be particularly wary of clip end errors, genuine or fake. So should every other serious collector of error coins. Report this Post to the Staff

Coin 1 looks legit because of the weakness on the reverse side (without distorting the shape) directly opposite the missing metal on the obverse side.
