My father passed last month,in the year leading up to his death him and I really bonded thru coin collecting and searching. He wasnt sure what to look for,but he looked just as actively as I did. This was one that he found,and it means the world to me tbh. You can see the collar getting smaller and smaller until it finally breaks. The coin is in great shape and the error itself is super neat to see. I had never found one...but...i didnt have to,like father like son.Cheers
Looking again I see a collar clash on the rim, but this maybe damage to the planchet during a forced insertion into the collar. But not seeing a die break. If you are referring to the edge, that is part of the partial collar.
