This example has some nice tone to it, but there are what look to be scratches to the left of the bust which are visible at certain angles. I can't tell if they are die polishing lines or evidence of cleaning. In any case, it looks good in hand.

Reverse is particularly nice. As for the obverse, still quite nice and, to quote the closing line of "Some like it hot", no one's perfect....

Looks like normal circulation marks to me, and looks like a nice EF-45 to me.

Thanks for the comments! When looking for these, I have found I am becoming more paranoid about cleaned coins. On larger coins, it is easier for me to tell what may or may not be normal circulation marks, but with these and the 10 cent pieces I've been looking at, there is so little real estate that normal contact marks can look to correlate as if they were from abrasive cleaning.

Of course, I'm looking for as much original luster as possible, but in the end I would rather have a dark coin with original surfaces than a bright coin that has been cleaned (as I'm sure most collectors would).

Personally I think theh hairlines on the obverse maybe cleaning marks. If not then I'd say AU-50
