bHello,
Something on the owl is worn his this coin ,depending on light directions it more or less visible ,is it an error ?
The first pic is taken when light is directed to the coin from below
The second and third pic is taken when light is directed to coin from above .

I am not an expert on errors, but it seems strange that a strike through error would stop at the edge of the owl and not affect the fields (especially the small area between the owl and the Britannia figure).


Maybe the mods can move this to one of the error sub-forums.

When you see it it may be affected ,but not apparent because maybe it has same luster as the field?
