I don't know anything about Roman coins but I like this one in particular and because I'm a direct descendant of Teodosio I the last Roman Emperor of East and West of the Roman Empire.

What a beautiful coin, would love to hear how you were able to trace your family history back to the emperor.

I'm a descendant of military men from the 17th century and Knights of Saint James "Caballeros de Santiago" of the 16th and 17th century and earlier generations. My 5th Greatgrandfather, a militaryman married a noblewoman descendant of King Ferdinand III "the saint", King of Spain. King Ferdinand is a descendant of Rodrigo de Vivar "EL Cid", who is a descendant of Emperor Theodosio I, born in Cauca, Hispania, son of Count Theodosio "El Viejo", military officer of Valentiniano I. If you are a descendant of a noble family everything is documented in the archives and only descendants of knights can become knights so your family tree is investigated and documented for your ascendants and to verify the purity of your christian blood.

Well this is not numismatic anymore, this is genealogy.

That is so cool that you are descended from a Roman Emperor!

The farthest back I can trace my family is to Ellis Island less than a century ago...
