This was caused by die abrasion.

pretty sure the "floating roof" is just a slight abrasion event on numerous dies, Spence. Don't think these carry any premium except maybe to newbies getting scammed on ebay...

with Sam. The dies were over polished; this was once thought to be a fantastic error coin, that is, until thousand and thousands of them were found. Sorry, no premium I'm afraid. Keep searching!
