Kloccwork419 Pillar of the Community United States 1359 Posts	Posted 11/23/2008 11:10 am I noticed an odd marking on the 2nd 9 but most of all the Reverse looks really doubled and notched to me. I see notching on most of UNITED STATES and some on the rest. I need opinions! Its a very beautiful coin. When I took a pic I noticed all this. coppercoins Pillar of the Community United States 7629 Posts	Posted 11/23/2008 12:23 pm The key to notching is the fact that the letters should be thicker than normal by the distance of the notching. All of the lettering on your coin is of normal thickness. The notching you see (I cannot see it in any of the images) is a part of the normal design. Report this Post to the Staff
