I noticed an odd marking on the 2nd 9 but most of all the Reverse looks really doubled and notched to me. I see notching on most of UNITED STATES and some on the rest. I need opinions! Its a very beautiful coin. When I took a pic I noticed all this. I look fro doubling on the Obv but not the Rev but seen it close in the pix.

The key to notching is the fact that the letters should be thicker than normal by the distance of the notching. All of the lettering on your coin is of normal thickness. The notching you see (I cannot see it in any of the images) is a part of the normal design.

With the different images it looks more like a promising candidate. Cannot say for sure whether it's a doubled die without being able to see the coin up close, but it looks promising.

Hi All,

I agree, this coin needs looking at, at close range.

I see some potential there as well.

Thanks,
Bill
