Wow! Another nice (rare) banknote. It is P-335c (Manchester being about as scarce as Liverpool & Leeds according to the book). I love the extensive watermark on these "white fivers."

I think rarer than Liverpool and Leeds.....there were bulk finds. It will go into my long term collection. I also have the Peppiatt £100 PMG 64.

Actually, I think I'm wrong.....it was Liverpool £100 notes where they found a group of them....so the London issues is rarer than the Liverpool.

Not a cheque Arianzo. These large notes started off being hand written in local banks but became standardised. At the time £5 was a large sum of money so they weren't seen in the hands of many working class people.
