I bought this coin at auction for $32, predominantly for the silver content but spent a little extra since it looked like fairly good detail. The coin has obviously been cleaned. With that in mind, do you feel there would be any added value in grading for this particular coin?

Agreed, this would really need to be a MS65 or better to justify costs.

Cool, I was just looking in the PCGS coin app and it seems these coins in the 45-50 grade range were being valued around $160 - $220, so I wasn't sure if it could possibly fall in there somewhere.

I may have actually been looking at the wrong 1901 Morgan, I think the double die reverse is the one I looked at, 1901-o is around $35, so on target.... never mind, thanks!

May have been looking at the 1901-S ..... the DDR gets quite a bit pricier.
