can you take pics of the rim? seems like it might be because I see signs of the Blaksley Effect, directly across from it.

Blakesley effect
The weakness opposite the clip on a clipped planchet error coin. This occures during the upsetting process, because of the clip there is a lack in pressure to upset the rim directly opposite the clip.

Im familiar with the blakesley. it is also tapered. This one was looked at and confirmed by mike d. It is quite neat

Looks legit. It was probably taken off the stock at the beginning of the sheet, or off a side that was not aligned correctly. But because if is tapered, makes me think it was at the beginning the of the roll. If off the side, I don't think it would be tapered.
