It's hard to get in pictures... I'm getting a new phone tomorrow. This should be easier then. But there's another ear behind his ear. So would that be west? And slightly south? So I think it was rotated clockwise. I'll be glad to have a better camera tomorrow...

Your coin looks like it was fired in acid, maybe it's the photo quality but I don't see anything other then acid dipped cent.
